College Survival Guide Camp: Everything I wish I had known before I went to college.

Join a small group of no more than 8 incoming freshmen to learn valuable skills, build confidence, and prepare for a major milestone in every student's life. Learn the skills needed to adjust to college and campus life including engagement, planning, goal setting, study skills, problem solving, and creating healthy boundaries and support systems. Discuss important topics related to personal Safety, Alcohol& Drug safety. Students will develop a college survival guide that includes developing a safety plan in the event of an assault or unexpected circumstances.

Our fun-filled small group activity based camp is focused on building self-confidence, coping skills, and developing positive peer relations. Students will participate in a variety of activities including art therapy techniques, games designed to increase self-awareness, and improve peer relations.

Summer camps teen camps social skills camps Cary Pittsboro Apex Holly Spring

Our children's study skills/social skills camp is a small group activity camp with a limit of 8-10 students per camp. Using a variety of skill developing and fun activities students will learn mindfulness techniques, increase their study skills, improve their peer relationship skills, and increase their self-confidence. Each day students will participate in an art therapy activity creating a craft project that they can take home with them at the end of the day. Topics include social skills, making and keeping friends, emotional regulation skills,  mindfulness, and positive self-care and coping skills.

This Skill Building Camp for ages 5-7 is a week long camp designed to engage children in fun activities to learn about emotions, interacting with peers in healthy ways, learning to express emotions in healthy ways, and increase their likelihood for healthier interactions with family and peers.
