Sandtray trainings for providers

This training is for practitioners who are new to sandtray and those who may have had basic training but want to learn more about using sandtray and experience the power of sandtray through this experiential training. This training covers a basic history of the development sandtray as a tool, a description of miniature categories and examples,  discussion and case consultation on tray processing, at least 4 opportunities to experience using sandtray with partners, as well as discussion on child and adolescent themes in the sandtray.

This training is for practitioners who have taken beginning sandtray or who have relevant experience using sandtray in their work. This training focus is on the benefits of sandtray, neuroscience, polyvagal theory, and processing trays with adults and groups is explored. This is a heavily experiential training and participants leave with a clear understanding of using sandtray with these populations and a greater understanding of themselves after experiencing the practice and process of sandtray therapy.

 ICST Certification is the highest level of training in sandtray therapy. ICST trainings include 4 levels taught over two 5 day trainings.  This training is required for ICST certification 

Each training is a unique and transformative experience. Trainings are held in either our beautiful training location in downtown Pittsboro or on location either on the beautiful beaches of NC, or the NC mountains.
