Licensed Psychologist – Psychological Testing

Cary, North Carolina | Part-Time

Krippa Family Psychological & Wellness Services is seeking a part-time Licensed Psychologist to join our Cary practice and provide comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults.


This position is ideal for a psychologist who enjoys assessment and diagnostic work and is looking for a flexible opportunity within an established, collaborative private practice.


Evaluations may include ADHD, autism, psychoeducational and learning evaluations, diagnostic clarification, and emotional and behavioral assessment.

About the position

This position focuses on providing comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults.


Evaluations may include ADHD, autism, learning and psychoeducational concerns, diagnostic clarification, and emotional or behavioral concerns. The psychologist will conduct clinical interviews, administer and interpret assessment measures, integrate findings, prepare comprehensive written reports, and provide feedback to clients and/or parents.


Our administrative team manages initial inquiries and scheduling, allowing the psychologist to focus primarily on the clinical assessment process.


The position offers a flexible part-time schedule, with weekend availability welcome but not required.

What you will do

What You’ll Do


As a psychologist providing assessment services, you will:


Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations

Complete clinical and diagnostic interviews with clients and/or parents

Administer, score, and interpret appropriate psychological and educational assessment measures

Integrate test results, clinical history, behavioral observations, and collateral information

Prepare clear, comprehensive written evaluation reports in a timely manner

Provide feedback sessions to clients and/or parents and explain findings and recommendations

Collaborate with schools, physicians, therapists, and other professionals when clinically appropriate and authorized

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a psychologist who enjoys assessment work, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and is comfortable working independently while also valuing consultation and collaboration.


The ideal candidate:


Currently holds an active North Carolina Psychologist license

Has experience conducting psychological and psychoeducational evaluations

Is experienced in test administration, scoring, interpretation, and integration of assessment data

Produces thorough, well-written, and clinically useful evaluation reports

Is comfortable providing feedback and recommendations to clients and families

Has strong diagnostic and differential diagnostic skills

Is organized, dependable, and able to complete reports in a timely manner

Values collaboration, consultation, and continued professional development

Is interested in becoming a long-term member of our clinical team

Schedule & Caseload

This is a PRN position with a flexible schedule. Evaluation volume will vary based on referrals and the types of assessments requested.


We are actively growing our psychological evaluation services, with the goal of developing a consistent referral stream and increasing evaluation volume over time. This position is a good fit for a psychologist who would like to begin with a flexible caseload and has the availability to take on additional evaluations as demand grows.


Evaluations are completed in person at our Cary office.

Position Details & Compensation

This is a part-time position based in our Cary office with flexible scheduling. 


Compensation is paid per completed evaluation and varies based on the type, scope, and complexity of the assessment.


KFS operates on a fee-for-service, out-of-network model. Evaluation fees are collected directly from clients, so compensation is not dependent on insurance authorization, claim approval, or insurance reimbursement timelines.
